Elmer Runge Classic 2008

Event Information

In addition to the standard CIF events, we will have Boys Frosh/Soph heats in the 1600meter, 400meter, and 100meter.
Again this year we will run the Thom Hunt Mile winch will consist of the top 12 - 15 milers.

The following is a full list of all of the events that we will be holding at this years Elmer Runge Classic!

400 Meter Relay	100 Meter	3200 Meter*	High Jump
Thom Hunt Mile	800 Meter	1600 Meter Relay*	Pole Vault
100/110 High Hurdles	300 Hurdles	Long Jump	Discus
400 Meter	200 Meter	Triple Jump	Shot Put

*We will use a 3-alley start in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter races*
*This will allow us to 27 athletes in each of the two events*

Trials

Each athlete will be allowed 4 trials in all field events.

T here will be no finals.

Opening Heights

High Jump Girls: 4’4”
High Jump Boys: 5’6”

Pole Vault Girls: 7’0”
Pole Vault Boys: 9’6”

Spikes

Only 3/16th ceramic or pyramid spikes will be allowed for all events. Athletes caught using or competing in longer spikes will be disqualified from all remaining events.

*Spikes will be available for purchase at the meet if an athlete has an improper size*
